Panasonic is the American and European brand name used by the Matsushita
Electric Industrial Co. of Japan, which was founded in 1918.
By 1997, Matsushita achieved cumulative total vacuum cleaner production
of seventy million units.
By 2004, this figure increased to one hundred million Panasonic vacuums
including commercial models.
Panasonic sells vacuum cleaners across a broad price spectrum and you
can purchase cheaper models or the more expensive Platinum models.
However, despite their general overall high quality, as with most things
you get what you pay for with Panasonic models.
The features on the various models can vary considerably so it is
important to carefully evaluate your specific needs and match them to
the features and product quality.
